Presidencies 1-44

Thomas Jefferson was elected to the newly built White House in a  dramatic fashion as he walk from the state capitol to his inauguration place.Hes considred the Father of the Democrat party. He served for two terms his most famous act of being president was the of course the famous Louisiana purchase for which he bought from France for about 15 millions dollars in there time. He doubled the size of the country in a matter of a signature.

Presidencies 1-44

John Adams was the second president of the United States of the America. Although hes not ranked highly as a president he did some good things like avoiding war with France or England. He set up the United States Navy but like the president he succeed he kept the same cabinet and there were arguments between his vice president Thomas Jefferson and secretory of state Alexander Hamilton. He was not reelected for a second term becoming the first one term president.

Pearl Harbor Remember

On the December 7 1941 the naval base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii was bombed in a attempt to destroy  Americas pacific fleet in order for the united states not get involved in the war that was happening in europe and asia. However whaever, japon thought to happen it didnt work.Pearl Harbor instead united the nation and to enter WW2 to turn the tide of the war. However to win the war came at huge cost over 4000 people were killed in the attack of pearl harbor. Today 69 years later it serves as a moment in history in the USA that united the nation.
